John Hunter (Chief Executive Officer)
John joined Zimiti as CEO in 2007. He has extensive experience in the electronics industry and an outstanding track record within privately owned businesses. John was part of a management buy-out team that took Primagraphics, an electronics manufacturer, to a $30m trade sale. The Sales & Marketing Director for 5 years, John became the MD of Primagraphics in 2005. Prior to this, he worked in a variety of sales roles, in particular with Thomson-CSF and before this, was a submariner in the Royal Navy. He is a Chartered Engineer, holds a Diplome Approfondi de Langue Française from Institut Francais and is a Graduate of Royal Naval College, Dartmouth and Royal Naval College, Greenwich.
Adam Coxen (Chairman and Founder)
Adam co-founded Zimiti in 2001. He founded his first company, Wavefinder in 1999 which he sold to LiveWave Media Plc in 2007. Adam now devotes his time to technology venture capital and property development. Prior to this, he was an advisor to the venture capital firm, Speed Ventures, a management consultant with BTS Group and a Captain in the Royal Engineers. He holds an Economics degree from City University and City University Business School, London and is a graduate of Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. He is a mentor at London Business School's Entrepreneurship School and also for the Prince's Trust.
Paul Bearpark (Engineering Manager)
Paul manages all engineering activities at Zimiti including R&D, manufacturing and technical support. He has over 20 years experience in the wireless communications industry, specialising in RF design with companies such as Motorola, Aeroflex, Ericsson and Marconi. He has a degree in Physics and Electronics from Manchester University, an MBA from Warwick Business School, is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the IET.
