Low Power Long Range Radio Platform

Zimiti's low power long range radio platform enables outstanding performance for monitoring and control applications such 'smart' energy systems, automatic meter reading and street light control. The platform uses low cost off-the-shelf RF integrated circuits and optimises them for exceptional performance. Transmission range is 1-15kms depending upon antenna heights and the propagation environment. This technology can also be used for establishing wireless communications over shorter distances in environments where propagation is extremely poor for example, from underground infrastructure, such as tunnels, to above ground or where all the antennas in a system need to be placed at ground level.

The RF transmission is low power which has the benefit that it can be used in all sub-bands between 433.05MHz and 434.79MHz and all the sub-bands (g, g1, g2, g3 and g4) between 863MHZ and 870MHz bands in Europe. It can operate for long durations on small batteries and for security applications it has a low probability of intercept.
